Tucson, Arizona
RESTORATION OF HISTORIC PROPERTY: Management and marketing support for the negotiation, purchase and restoration of an important structure in the history of Tucson’s downtown. This building was the second home of the Arizona Star newspaper and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is one of only two-known buildings by architect Alexander Petit. It was transformed from a shoe repair shop into two floors of offices built exclusively for housing downtown arts businesses.
