RESTORATION OF HISTORIC PROPERTY: Provided funding, management and marketing support to launch and execute the $14 million restoration of a 1,200 seat, 1929 Southwestern Art Deco movie palace on the National Register of Historic Places in Tucson, Arizona. Instrumental in negotiating the purchase, starting the nonprofit, raising the funds and overseeing the 10-year rehabilitation of a community resource that now presents 170+ events a year to over 80,000 visitors and is widely considered to be the cornerstone project that began the remarkable resurgence of downtown Tucson. Project continues through the present time under Fox Tucson Theatre Foundation 501c3 created solely for this entity.
